Terms of Service

1Acceptance & Eligibility

By creating an account or using any part of HuzaHub you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and accept these Terms in full.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2Accounts & Verification

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current information during registration.

• You may not share your account with third parties.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
• Accounts used to misrepresent identity will be suspended.
• KYC verification is required for withdrawal of earnings above platform thresholds.

3Jobs, Applications & Contracts

Employers are responsible for the accuracy of all job listings. Seekers are responsible for the accuracy of their applications and profiles. All engagements formalised on HuzaHub generate a binding digital agreement signed by both parties.

• Freelance and contract jobs use HuzaHub escrow by default.
• Employment, internship, and volunteer agreements are recorded on HuzaHub but paid externally.
• Both parties must honour the agreed terms once a contract is active.

4Payments & Escrow

HuzaHub provides an escrow service for platform-based payments. Funds deposited by employers are held securely until the employer confirms job completion, at which point they are released to the seeker's wallet.

• Platform commission applies as stated on the Pricing page.
• Withdrawals are subject to KYC verification and processing times.
• We do not store card numbers. All payment processing is handled via our certified payment partners.
• Chargeback abuse will result in account termination.

5Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between an employer and seeker, either party may raise a formal dispute through the platform. Our team will review the evidence provided by both parties.

6Prohibited Conduct

The following are grounds for immediate account termination without refund:

• Fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation of any kind.
• Harassment, abuse, or threats directed at other users or staff.
• Bypassing the platform payment system to avoid commissions.
• Posting illegal, discriminatory, or misleading job listings.
• Automated scraping or reverse engineering of the platform.
• Sharing login credentials or selling accounts.

7Intellectual Property

HuzaHub and its content, logos, and technology are owned by HuzaHub Ltd and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their own content but grant HuzaHub a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

8Limitation of Liability

HuzaHub is a marketplace platform. We are not a party to contracts between employers and seekers and are not liable for the quality, timeliness, or legality of services rendered. Our total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by the user in the 90 days prior to the claim.

9Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may close your account at any time through Settings. Outstanding contract obligations survive termination.

10Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
